The Teenage Problem

The last couple of days, I ve been getting a lot of survey forms about adoloscence. I must say they some of the questions are ridiculous.
Sample this
Q You feel committing sucide when you...
a)Get less marks
b)Get scolding from teacher
c)Get scolding from parents

And

Q Do you talk to your bf/gf when you are alone at home?
a) yes
b) no

Of course some of these questions make perfect comic material. But somehwere this also points something really bad.

Does the Society as a whole think of teenagers as dim witted half kids half adults who are driven into mood swings and sucidal tendencies by the slightest of triggers? Are teenagers just supposed to have crushes, smoke and drink? Is breaking rules, disrespecting authority and being a good for nothing rebel all what we can do?

Maybe I am a little out of my mind right now. But these questionnaires do get me depressed.
